1. Power Settings
Do you know that having your PC on Balanced or High Performance rather that Power Saver boosts the overall performance of your PC? Well, this is because the power saver plan is slowing your PC down by reducing system performance so as to save energy.
To change your power settings all you have to do is, Right click on your battery icon and select “Power Option”. Alternatively, you can launch Control Panel, then head to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
From here you will see options like “Balanced (recommended)” and “Power saver.” you might also see other plans like “High performance” depending on your model. Click the arrow to “Show additional plans.” if the option is available.
High performance uses the most power but gives the most oomph.
Balanced Ideally balances power between power use and better performance.
Power saver basically minimize performance to give much battery life.
