Hi,
Thank you for this great info. However, when I follow the instructions given, it wasn't successful rather there was a prop up that read:
Windows Script Host
Activating Windows(R), Professional edition (2de67392-b7a7-462a-b1ca-108dd189f588)…
Error: 0xC004F074 The software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted.
Please see the Application Event Log for additional information.
Please how can you help me get around this?
Thanks.
Please I would like to know the Windows version currently running on your PC.
This error can occur with a support version mismatch between the KMS client and the KMS host machine which is common when trying to activate Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 KMS client machines.
Make sure that the system time on client and KMS host is the same.
You can first try to Run the w32tm /resync command to resync the time on the client.
